Introduction to WT103
1.1 WT103 is a IP PHONE put into market recently by our company. With excellent voice quality, abundant software features, and very low call cost, it provides a superior voice communication solution and is the preferred product for long– distance call customers.
With a built in dial up modem it can be used with wither dial-up or high-speed broadband connection. The user can select either VOIP network or the PSTN, whichever is the least cost for each call.
The built-in Ethernet port can be used to connect on the 10/ 100 base-T LAN. The IP Phone also has a PSTN port, allowing you to dial out over the VOIP network through 56K build in modem.
1.2 Fuction Buttons
Button Functions
Local IP With handset hung, press this key to display local IP address on LCD.
Server IP With handset hung, press this key to display server IP address on LCD.
Local number With handset hung, press this key to display local number on LCD.
Hold With handset hung, press this key to display the subnet mask of the phone set in onhook state; During a call, press this button to place the current call on hold.
Transfer With handset hung, press this button to display the IP address of the current gateway; During a call , press this button to transfer the call to another phone set.
Dialed calls With handset hung, press this button to review dialed numbers.
Answered calls With handset hung, press this button to review answered numbers.
Missed calls With handset hung, press this button to review missed numbers;
Redial After taking the handset off hook, press this button to redial the last dialed nuber.
Handfree Press this key to have a call without lifting the handset.
Number buttons After taking the handset off hook or pressing down, press nuber buttons to dial.
Volume+ With handset picked press this key to Increase the volumes of handset With pressing speaker press this key to Increase the volumes of speaker.
With pressing “ missed? or“ received? or “ out? and then press this key to turn over the record backward.
Enter the menu mode; press this key to turn over the item backward.

2 SPECIFICATIONS

3 Installation:
1) Connect handset to base: insert handset cord into handset cord jack at the left side of the base.
2) Connect IP phone to Internet: plug the RJ-45 Ethernet cable into the Ethernet Jack. Plug the other end of the cable into HUB or switch.
3) Power on IP phone: plug the power cord adapter into the Power Jack. Then plug the other end of the power cord adapter into the appropriate wall outlet.
With the installation done, users can chose the telephone keyboard HTTP or Telnet orders according the preference of each, and set the respective parameters. Details may refer to the related chapters in the manual.
4.configuration
( 1) Enter the configuration mode: Take the handset off hook, and input ? 234# ? by pressing the digit buttons.Then, at the prompt of” Password: ” in the LCD of the phone, input the password( which defaults to 12345678) , and press to enter the configuration mode.
( 2) Configure network access mode: In the configuration mode, at the prompt of “ Network Settings? Press to enter the sub-menu..If the LCD displays “ iptype 0[ static] ? the current access mode is static.Press to enter the parameter value edit mode, and press to change the value of iptype to 1, then press to confirm your modification and exit the parameter value edit mode.” iptype 1[ dhcp] ? will appear in the LCD.
Note: The iptype argument indicates the access mode of the IP phone and can be set to 0, 1, or 2, which respectively represent the static, DHCP, and PPPOE access modes.
3) Some other parameters may need to be configured too.Contact your ISP or system administrator for instruction.
4) Save the settings and exit the configuration mode: After completing the configurations, press consecutively until the LCD displays “ save settings? Then press and at the prompt of” save.are you sure? ” Pressagain to save the settings and reboot the IP phone.lYour settings will take effect after rebooting.
Note: 1) In the parameter value edit mode, if you want to cancel the change made for the current parameter, just press to exit the edit mode and return to the display mode.
5) At any moment, if you want to cancel the configuration changes made and exit the edit mode, pressconsecutively until the LCD displays “ exit settings? and pressto confirm.All changes made will be cancelled, and the phone will reboot and restore the settings before you perform the configurations.
6) Restoring the Default Settings
In case configuration erros occur and you need to restore the default settings.refer to the previously mentioned instructions to enter the configuration mode , and at the prompt of “ network settings? pressconsecutively until the LCD displays “ default settings? Then press to confirm to restore the factory default settings.The phone will reboot.After rebooting, all configurations except for the IP address and mask of the phone will be restored to the default settings.
7) Modem configuration
When Modem is in use, set the “ iptype? to “ modem? then input isp number to “ forward number? input user account to “ pppid? and user password to “ pppin? when ipphone reboot, modem will dial up to internet.
